 The film, Air Power: Victory From the Sky is narrated by Walter Cronkite and follows the battle action between Allied and Imperial Japanese Forces during the second half of the World War II in the Pacific combat theater.  After Japan woke a sleeping tiger at Pearl Harbor, Americans were outraged and took to the skies determined to seek justice.  As the Allied forces began their long march to Japan, fighting took place over vast expanses of the Pacific Ocean and included fighting on many Japanese island fortifications and outposts.  The fighting in the Pacific combat theater involved a significant amount of fighting in the skies as well.  In Air Power: Victory From The Sky, the features of this film are as follows: 1) The Invasion of Saipan; 2) B-29s enter the war; 3) The Marines take Iwo Jima; 4) Tokyo burns; 5) Kamikaze pilots dive into U.S. Ships; 6) The Battle of Okinawa; 7) The bombing of Hiroshima and 8) The formal surrender on the U.S.S. Missouri.  Full screen in black and white.  Released in 1995.  Runtime 90 minutes.
