The film, Biography: Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, tells the story of the sheltered girl who became the world's most talked-about and admired woman.  Having married John F. Kennedy in the 1950s when he was a United States Senator, Jackie Kennedy burst into the national public eye in 1960 as she first followed her husband on the campaign trail and ultimately became "First Lady" to the President of the United States.  Jackie Kennedy in the early 1960s represented youth, glamour and sophistication.  With the assassination of President Kennedy in November, 1963 she became a grieving widow with two young children.  Five years later when she married Greek shipping tycoon Aristotle Onassis, she shocked the world as the "jet-setting" Jackie O.  She continued to evolve in the public spotlight as she became a career woman, book editor and grandmother before her untimely death in 1994.  This video is sure to appeal to anyone interested in wealth, power and Presidential history.  This program is hosted by Peter Graves.  Full screen in color.  Released in 1998.  Runtime 50 minutes.
