The movie, Come See The Paradise, is a powerful story of romance set against one of the darkest periods in United States history.  In California, 1936, inter-racial marriage is illegal so Jack McGurn and Lily Kawamura must elope to Seattle, Washington where they soon have a daughter.  As if this is not cause for enough pain, when Pearl Harbor is attacked, Lily, her family and thousands of other Japanese-Americans are "relocated" away from the west coast to internment camps located into the interior of the Western United States.  As Jack tries desperately to keep his family together, the horrible specter of war threatens to tear them apart.  This double sided disc includes the following on Side A: 1) Come See The Paradise and 2) Full-length audio commentary.  Side B includes: 1) Images of Come See The Paradise featurette; 2) Essay by Sir Allan Parker; 3) Rabbit in the Moon Documentary and 4) Original theatrical trailers.  Starring Dennis Quaid, Tamlyn Tomita and Sab Shimono among others.  Widescreen in color.  Released in 1990.  Runtime 138 minutes.
